A Sparkling, Pét-nat (pétillant naturel), Fine Devon Perry. A rare and beautiful thing. With nothing added or taken away, and just 400 bottles available, this is a pure fruit basket of pears, melons, passion fruits augmented by minerality and a sherbety fizziness.
Made from (as the name suggests) five trees, two Norton Butt & three Blakeney Red, tucked away in one of our Bramford Speke orchards, this Fine Perry combines two years of harvest. We blend a mellow, smooth & complex two year old ferment from 2023, with a zingy, fruity and naturally sweet ferment from 2024, bottling before fermentation is finished in the latter to ensure a light sparkle.
An inevitably perfect accompaniment to an oyster or two. Serve chilled, from a Riesling glass.

All of our English Fine Ciders & Perries are made with just apples handpicked from the traditional Devon orchards we manage for both fruit and biodiversity in the Exe Valley. Here diverse wild flowers and grasses flourish below the trees, grazed by our flock of Shropshire sheep or an orchard owner’s calves.
